Children and young people attending Sunday morning worship are a very important part of the church family. They spend the first 20 minutes in the Service, and then go to their age appropriate groups. We provide opportunities for them to learn from the Bible, grow in their personal faith and to have fun together.
For those of primary school age we have Junior Church. Here the children learn from the Bible through a variety of age appropriate activities, including crafts and storytelling. Andrea, one of our leaders says, “In Junior Church children learn how important they are to God and what that means for their young lives. They discover about living life from a Christian perspective.” In addition to activities and learning, children enjoy light refreshments.
For young people of secondary school age we have a Youth Zone, with discussion and activities that aim to equip them to live a productive Christian life. They have opportunity to talk about how they are doing at school and share their concerns, so that they can be supported in prayer.
